MGU President Message
Our world has changed profoundly and will continue changing. An everyday volatility that I call “continuity of rupture era”, marked by a permanent rupture and continuity. It is a period of unforeseen events that we have already been warned. This is the most complex paradox of our time, a world of surprises, which creates threats and opportunities, in a continuous way. In this context, the methods and tools of strategic foresight can be considered as a safe way to deflect threats and create unprecedented opportunities.
Faced on simultaneous challenges with multiple aspects and impacts, we must create adapted and flexible methods to find solutions, make changes, revise our concepts, remain creative and ultimately make strategic decisions. Like many institutions in the world and despite the major challenges in a particularly difficult period, MGU has not ceased to evaluate its founding concepts as well as its objectives and programs.
In its 13 year anniversary and despite the impacts of Covid 19, MGU remains even more dynamic, innovative and adapted to the various needs both in the higher education sector and in practical and professional training. Thus, Methodologica, as the first European school entirely focused on three main axes: Advanced methodology, Governance (Management) and Strategic foresight. This triangle with a new organizational approach and new programs with original and customized methods was tailored to the stakes with practical goals in 2022.
From May 2022, MGU will implement new programs in the following areas:
1. Certification (evaluation, standardization, adaptation, equivalence and personal and professional upgrading)
2. Specific services (academic services, publication services, specific services for startups, services for strategic analysis and prospecting, etc.)
3. New sessions (Advanced Master Class, courses and practical workshops, SMS weeks and new sessions of Master in Management, MIM, Doctorate in Management, DIM etc)
4. Events (seminars, conferences, forums, prizes)
I can also mention a very important change at MGU: the extension of its activities outside of Europe. Thanks to our main partner in Canada, we will offer you innovative programs and specific services. With FUTURALE in Canada, you will be able to benefit from various packages such as: PIAPS SYSTEM (the first and only intelligent platform for strategic foresight analyzes in the world), SIAP (Startup Initiative and Accelerator Program), and above all from the various consulting services for businesses and startups. So, we are now active in Canada with our own team and that of FUTURALE.
In the part of the certification, we made important changes. There are programs that we have reviewed, supplemented and updated according to today’s needs in the academic and professional fields worldwide. We didn’t want to remain limited in the European standardization system. As a result, we have designed systems adapted and accepted both in Europe and in North America. For example, the ESCO program will no longer be supported by MGU and in its place, by modifying and supplementing this program, we offer you the CESCO program, according to European and North American criteria and standards.
To achieve all these projects and to advance our programs, MGU needs the contribution and collaboration of individual experts as well as public and private institutions.
