What is the Advanced Master Class of MGU?
As every year since 2009, Methodologica Governance University organizes a series of courses and workshop and Master Class in different subjects during the summer. This year, university preparation courses have a privileged place among the subjects offered. In addition this year we have focused on the promotion of personal and professional competences in the field of management. The flexibility of the programs allows participants to enjoy both their vacation and the courses and workshops planned by Methodologica Governance University. The big news this year is the reduction in registration fees for summer programs compared to previous years. A certificate of participation will be issued to all participants.
In 2021, the AMS are planned for international participants in Europe, Persian-speaking countries (Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan).
The Master Class are taught by professors and international experts whose research forms the basis of courses using an innovative methodology both in terms of teaching and content. These courses are presented at different levels in order to allow all participants to integrate the courses corresponding to their starting level.
The main axes of the courses offered are:
- A multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary methodology
- Advanced research methodology by discipline
- Specific courses and workshop aimed at different publics
- Specialized and practical modules in addition to a theoretical course
- Academic preparation for the start of the academic year
- Preparation for professional integration
- Training for a research project (master’s or thesis)
Language of courses
The courses in this edition are mainly in French and for Persian speakers in Farsi. However, certain courses, in particular language courses, are offered in the language taught and in French or English to facilitate learning for international students.
Some instructors also provide instruction in another language they master, as is the case for our English-speaking or Persian-speaking teachers.
Course duration
Master Class take place throughout the summer and autumn, from August to September.
Each course or module is offered over 6 hours divided into 4 one-and-a-half-hour sessions.
Type A 9 hours / 1 week (6 hours Course/ 3 hours Workshop)
Type B 18 hours /2 weeks (15 hours Course/ 3 hours Workshop)
Type C 24 hours/ 3 weeks (12 hours Course/ 12 hours Workshop)

The Master Class will take place from 20th August 2021 to 15th September 2021.
Certificates
Course participants will receive at the end of their course a certificate the course taken as well as the language of instruction.
Continuation of training in MGU
The participants of the Master Class have the possibility of continuing their education and training within the framework of the additional and full-time courses at Methodologica Governance University, benefiting from a 10% reduction specially provided for this occasion.
These distance and online courses can be supplemented by specific face-to-face courses in Paris in the classrooms of Methodologica Governance University which are carried out within the framework of:
– Short-term training (two months), accompanied by practical workshops
– Medium-term training (six months), accompanied by practical and specialized workshops
– Intensive training (a few days), practical courses
– Training-of-trainers courses (formation des formateurs)

Master Class classes are open to all subject to registration and prior payment. However, the courses can be beneficial and useful for:

Methodologica Governance University collaborates with a single point of contact from the partner institution to ensure the smooth processing of all students from application through registration.
Institutions that partner with Methodologica Governance University establish specific guidelines to govern their students' nomination and admission to the programme. Institutions may nominate their students based on specific criteria, such as grade point average, English or French language ability, or field of study. All nominated students must meet the established admissions requirements of Methodologica Governance University. MGU retains the right to make the final admission decision.
Partnership agreements offer flexibility when it comes to billing. Depending on the agreement, Methodologica Governance University can bill the partner institutions or share the incomes and expenses. Flexibility in the billing process also allows partner institutions to award their own scholarships to its students.
The "Advanced Master Class" Programme goes from July until September and depending on the host country, it can be from one to three weeks training courses.
The programme is designed as an interactive training including courses and workshops offered to international students who are willing to learn methodology and apply it on their academic studies or working experience.
The Methodologica Governance University Master Class offers courses covering a variety of subjects, including history, political science, philosophy, management, economics, languages, literature, strategic foresight and journalism.
Master Class’s courses consist of collective classroom sessions held on weekdays in Methodologica Governance University’ partners training spaces.
Courses are conducted in French, English or Persian by international and national lecturers.
The maximum students attending at once a collective class will be 100 and beyond this number the class will be divided in small groups not exceeding 50 students.
In the host country, an organizing committee will take over the organization of the Master Class and will be in permanent communication with Methodologica Governance University headquarters in Paris.
Yes Methodologica Governance University with the partner institution will deliver a certificate in French for each participant stating the name of the student and the title of the course.
